This brought new meaning to me as a Christian who was raised in the Catholic faith. When I was brought up as an altar boy, we went through 15 stations of the cross, every Friday in the month of lent. This meant as a church we revisited the different stations of the cross, with hymns, prayers and reflections at each station.
It took us 30-45 minutes as church to finish it together.

For what good it did, it also lacked the personal touch, which I believe we were able to do good this time.

Perhaps, a video of this Journey to the Cross through the eyes of a believer should be made into a "documentary" and secondly, to be held throughout the month of lent.

It may need to be revised so that persons wanting to come for Journey to the Cross can be "self serving" instead of being monitored by the tireless volunteers.

All in all, it was fantastic!!!

Thanks to all who came for the Journey - the team is bowled over by the overwhelming response. Apologies for the less-than-perfect queuing system, especially for those who had to wait long or had to go away disappointed. One thing we forgot to mention - the text wasn't prepared by the team, but was taken from Youth Specialties - a website with free resources for youth ministry. Journey to the Cross is by Faith Bosland and is available here: http://www.youthspecialties.com/freeresources/programming
