What does it mean to follow Jesus? What did Jesus Himself mean when He calls for people to follow Him?

This series of studies from Mark’s Gospel focuses on Mark’s narrative of Jesus’ journey toward Jerusalem, and ultimately the cross. The emphasis of this section of Mark’s gospel is on the nature of following Jesus, drawing from Jesus’ own journey and His teaching.

The sessions will include short lectures and group discussion, supplemented by some individual work between sessions.

Class participants are encouraged to bring along a notebook besides their own Bible.
