2010 Missions Conference: Signs and Wonders in Missions

14 March 2010 1,470 views No Comment

Dream Centre
23-25 April 2010

In giving the Great Commission, Jesus declared, and His disciples demonstrated, that signs and wonders are part of missions:

“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons… they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get
well” (Mark 16:15-18).

“Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it” (Mark 16:20).

But are signs and wonders still at work in missions today?

In the book, Still Red, co-authored by Georgina Sam and David Wang, the account of a Christian from Mainland China was told:

“She’s been speaking in villages throughout the district! And not only that – the most wonderful things happen when she speaks!”

“Wonderful things? Like what?”

“Miraculous things! Sick people get healed! Cripples – they can walk! The deaf, they hear! Crooked backs become straight!”

Wherever the gospel goes, it is accompanied by God’s miraculous power. Come and celebrate the works of the Holy Spirit in missions!
