Welcome to The DUMC Blog!
We warmly welcome you in the name of Jesus!
Our new DUMC blog will work hand-in-hand with the existing DUMC “corporate” website, but with the specific goal of bringing up-to-date information to you, via a format that is more user-friendly and accessible.
Any content that is dynamic or regularly updated will be made available on this site first. This includes your favourites: events, sermons, our Floodgates newsletters and the DUA. In the days to come, we will begin incorporating other features and content, including blogs from our pastors, testimonies and prayer requests.
The existing DUMC website will continue to have all the rest of the information about DUMC. To find out more about our church, our vision, values and goals, or to contact the church, please visit www.dumc.com.my.
We’re still on BETA (testing) mode, so we welcome your patience, feedback, comments and also your prayers for DEW Interactive, the ministry that manages this website.
Our ministry is looking for volunteers. If you have a passion for the web, design, programming or anything to do with the internet, please click here to email us.
God bless!

Hip Hip Hurray for our new blog! Great job Warren!
This is good effort! Way to go, but need constant update and moderation. Great to see own very own blog up!
Yes, it looks good indeed.
wow! i’m so impressed & it looks modern too!
I really love this blog! It’s unique and very user-friendly and I really like the greenery theme. Praise the Lord for His gifts! I think this would really help the church keep up with the times and reach out to more people. Looking forward to reading more entries

Hey Marilyn, you are in the picture… far left! :-p
Keep it up Warren!
Ok, had to wait it past 1st April to know this is not some joke…
Seriously, I think this is a powerful way of encouraging others with a testimony or a forum to discuss some encounters of the word.
Great Job guys…

Guys,
I am really impressed with your new blog and your church (what I’ve seen and heard of it at least!) My wife and I will be attending your church for the 13th Malaysia Cell Church Conference in June with our Senior Pastors (Chris and Lorraine Roberts) and I must say I am looking forward to it immensely!
Just wanted to say thankyou for the blessings and we’ll see you in June!

It is encouraging to see that DUMC is joining the blogsphere and have her own blog now. This is good because it is a platform for church pastors to engage the congregation in the cyberspace.
What is still lacking now is there are not many blog entries here. So, who are bloggers from church? Other than that, stay cool and keep it up
Well done Warren! I remember seeing the “skeletal” version of the blog when it first got started. Praise God for the wonders He does through your hands. And now…we have a platform to connect.
Great Job Warren! How about a facebook page for DUMC? It is widely use. Keep it up!
Is “God Came Near”, the Christmas rally, a play, musical or concert? I’d like to invite my pre-believing colleague to the event. Thanks.
A suggestion for DUMC: DAILY worship and prayer night
Good example: The Lord’s church
http://spiritlessons.com/Documents/Babtize_by_Blazing_Fire/index.htm
“What amazed me is that the church is packed with prayer warriors starting at 9:30pm until 5:00 am. daily, 365 days a year. They are engaged in intercessory prayer. Every night there is powerful worship,
spiritual dance, sermons, the impartation of anointing fire, and much prayer. I have witnessed that Pastor Kim is taken to hell by the Lord at early dawn every day. The Lord Jesus wants him to experience the suffering and torment of hell because the Lord wants him to tell the world that hell is real. He was also taken to Heaven many times. The Lord grieves that today’s churches do not believe in hell or, at best, take it lightly. This amazing book is a must-read for all Christians. Baptize by Blazing Fire will encourage you to overcome the spiritual battle as well as give you a wonderful foretaste of Heaven.”
Good to have a blog going. Get’s all of us to stay closer.Let’s put the blog to use.
Regards to the delivery by Mr.Lim last weekend (20.2.2011) A part of his message struck a chord: some people working in the same office only learnt, over a cuppa, that they were Christians working in the same office – for years, they never knew.
Nothing against wearing crucifixes of loud T-shirts or shouting aloud our Christianess, but should not we be known as Christians by our acts, our loving nature, our language and our influence in our social circle? If people cannot even guess our Christ-like character, we should check how we are living our lives outside the church environment. After all, our Lord did call us to be Salt of the Earth – and if salt loses its saltiness… it is only good for throwing out and be trampled upon.
When this was shared with members of a home cell, immediate reaction is about the right to wearing crosses and need for formal declaration of faith. (sure hit a nerve there). I am not against such outward signs but I am asking whether we are living the life of saltiness – a life of influencing and changing society – to the extent the World recognizes us as a follower of Christ.
Gone Salty yet?
